How many animals are going towards river?

Answer of the puzzle One rabbit saw 6 elephants while going towards River is 5

If you read the puzzle line by line you will notice that it is the rabbit going towards river (One rabbit saw 6 elephants while going towards River).

Now there are two monkeys also going towards river (Every elephant saw 2 monkeys are going towards river, its the same two monkeys seen by every elephant)

Now puzzle also says that every monkey holds one parrot (Every monkey holds one parrot in their hands) that means parrots are also, obviously, going towards river. So we need to count two parrots as well.

So in total we have 5 animals going towards river : 1 Rabbit, 2 Monkeys and 2 Parrots.

Note : After posting this puzzle there are heated arguments over the internet whether Birds (Parrots) are animal or not. I dont want to fall in those arguments and leave it up to you to decide the same. But if you check the dictionary.com it says “any such living thing other than a human being are animal”
